Skin Rejuvenation and Resurfacing

These procedures are done to improve the appearance of the skin. Skin rejuvenation can be achieved in various ways, ranging from laser light and other energy based treatments to chemical peels, micro dermabrasion and other non-ablative methods. The result is a smoother, cleaner and more youthful appearance to your skin.

Skin Rejuvenation is a treatment to resurface your skin, or to improve the texture, clarity and overall appearance of your skin. Some of the conditions that can be treated are:

Pigmentations:
Sun spots, freckles, melasma and other darkened patches of the skin, resulting mainly from sun exposure, can be treated by various creams, laser light treatment or surgical excision.

Scars:
Acne, burns or injuries to the skin may result in wide, discolored, pitted or raised scars. These can be improved with surgical excision and revision or micro dermabrasion and or various creams for local application.

Vascular conditions:
Visible blood vessels on the surface of the skin may appear as tiny blood filled blisters or a constant flush of facial redness can be treated with laser light treatments.

Skin wrinkles:
These may be Static (visible at all times) or Dynamic (lines that appear as folds and deepen with facial movements) and can be treated with use of Botox and / or use of injectable fillers.

Loss of skin tone:
The structures that support the skin like collagen and elastin fibers may weaken resulting in loss of skin firmness can be improved with surgical procedures or light treatments in conjunction with nutritional supplements.

Abnormal facial hair growth:
This may be due to hereditary factors or hormonal changes and can be improved with intense pulse light to reduce the hair growth as well as nutritional supplements to restore hormone and body balance.
