Facelift and Necklift

Face Lift, also known as Rhytidectomy, is a surgical procedure to improve the visible signs of aging in the face and neck.

Facial aging includes a loss of skin elasticity and firmness, sagging tissue and wrinkles. These visible signs of aging can greatly impact how we feel about ourselves and how others see us. Even a person who is energetic and excited about life, may appear tired or sad due to aging of the face, jaw line and neck. This loss of youthful features is due to a variety of factors including heredity, gravity, environmental conditions, stress and nutrition.

A facelift is designed to correct the sagging facial skin and muscles, remove excess fat and restore firmness to create a more youthful, rested and vibrant appearance.

Eyelid Surgery

Also known as blepharoplasty, is a surgical procedure to improve the appearance of the upper and / or lower eyelids.

The eyes are our most intriguing and revealing facial features, they draw attention and convey expression. Through them, we not only see others but others see us as well. Our interest and how we feel physically or emotionally is reflected in our eyes. Unfortunately hereditary factors and the signs of aging can greatly impact the appearance of our eyes, so that what they reflect is not really how we feel.

The eyes are the windows to our soul and are as a part of the natural aging process, or due to heredity, loose or sagging skin creates folds or hides the natural contour of the upper eyelids. Excess skin that hangs down from the upper eyelids, sometimes impairs vision. Excess fatty deposits that appear as puffiness in the upper eyelids and bags under the eyes, makes you appear sad or angry, or the eyes may look tired due to puffiness or bags.

Eyelid surgery, corrects the excess skin, tissue and fat that contribute to puffiness and bags in both the upper and lower eyelids revealing a more youthful and energetic appearance.

Surgery of the Nose (Rhinoplasty)

Cosmetic surgery of the nose, also called rhinoplasty, is a procedure to improve the appearance of the nose.

The nose is the central, most prominent feature of the face and is a very important factor in defining balance and harmony in ones facial features. When the nose is out of proportion and does not complement the face, it can affect self image and confidence. Usually the specific characteristics of the nose are as a result of heredity; however the appearance of the nose may sometimes be the result of injury or prior surgery.

Surgery of the nose improves the appearance and proportion of the nose, enhancing facial harmony and self confidence. It may also correct impaired breathing caused by structural defects in the nose.

Ear Surgery

Plastic surgery of the ear is most commonly performed to correct the position of ears that protrude significantly from the sides of the head.

Protruding large or misshapen ears makes the ears appear to be larger than normal and can detract from facial appearance. Children with prominent or deformed ears may suffer the ridicule of peers and a resulting lack of self confidence.

Ear surgery creates a natural shape, while bringing balance and proportion to the ears and face. Correction of even minor deformities can have profound benefit to appearance and self-esteem.

Injectable Fillers and Botox

Injectable fillers are substances that enhance the fullness of soft tissues, primarily in the face. Injectable fillers can be used alone or in combination with other products such as wrinkle reduction by injection (BOTOX) to enhance facial appearance, or to refine the results of surgical rejuvenation.

Numerous factors including sun exposure, heredity, stress and life style may result in visible signs of facial aging over time. One of the earliest signs of aging is a loss of facial fullness and the development of expression lines – wrinkles that appear as a result of the repeated movement of facial muscles.

Treatment with injectable fillers is a non surgical method of softening of the facial lines and creases, and restoring the volume and fullness in the face. Injectable fillers can plump thin lips and restore fullness to other facial tissue, enhance shallow contours, soften facial creases and wrinkles, and in some cases, improve the appearance of recessed scars. The result is a smoother, fuller and more youthful facial appearance. To learn more about Botox and Injectable Fillers, schedule a consultation with Dr. Doctor.
