Breast Lift

Breast Lift, technically called mastopexy, is a surgery to uplift and improve the shape of a female breast that sags, has lost firmness and skin elasticity or has stretched skin and an enlarged areola.

A woman's breasts often changes over time, and may loose their youthful shape and firmness. These changes, include loss of skin elasticity, which can result from pregnancy, breast-feeding, gravity, weight fluctuations and aging. A women in her teens may also experience loose sagging breasts due to heredity factors. Breasts that have lost their firm, uplifted contours can affect a women's self image and confidence.

A breast lift raises and firms the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue to reshape and support the new breast contour. It also reduces the size of the areola which may have also enlarged over time.



Breast Augmentation

Also known as Augmentation Mammaplasty, is the surgical placement of breast implant to increase fullness and projection of the breasts, or to improve symmetry of the breasts or to enlarge a naturally small breast.

Breast size is important to many women. Some individuals feel that small breasts not only limit their fashion choices, but can also cause dissatisfaction with body image. Breast augmentation to increase fullness and projection of the breasts improves the balance in a women's figure and can enhance her self image and self confidence.

It is a cosmetic procedure strictly performed to fulfill a persons personal desire for fuller breasts or to restore breast volume lost after weigh reduction or pregnancy

Breast augmentation does not correct sagging breasts, however, if a women desires to enhance breast fullness and at the same time improve the position and shape of the sagging breasts, a breast lift may be performed in conjunction with breast augmentation.



Breast Reduction

Also known as reduction mammaplasty, is a surgical procedure that removes excess breast fat, glandular tissue and skin to achieve a breast size in proportion with your body and to alleviate the discomfort associated with overly large breasts.

Overly large breasts can cause some women to have both health and emotional problems. In addition to self image issues, you may also experience physical pain and discomfort. The weight of the excess breast tissue can impair your ability to lead an active life. The emotional discomfort and self conciousness often associated with having large pendulous breasts is as important as the physical discomfort and pain.



Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia)

Gynecomastia is a condition of over development or enlarged breasts in men. It is common in men of any age and can be the result of hormonal changes, heredity conditions, disease or the use of certain drugs.

It can cause emotional discomfort and impair ones self confidence. Some men may avoid certain physical activity and intimacy simply to hide their condition.

Surgery to correct this condition usually involves removal of the excess fat by liposuction and excision of the excess breast tissue and or skin to achieve a normal male chest contour.
